Taiwan high-tech industry with its good development momentum has introduced the world first class technology and advanced management experience to Shanghai and therefore promoted the local industrial adjustment and structural upgrading,thus Taiwan high-tech industry has played an important role in Shanghai industrial urban development.Compared with Yangtze River Delta,the West Coast of Taiwan Strait of China and Chengdu-Chongqing economic zone,While Shanghai occupies unique competitive advantages in attracting Taiwan businessmen;it is challenged with inferiority of itself which cannot be avoided.In response to this fact Shanghai should adopt the policies of optimizing cross-strait financial cooperation and talent policy,the measures of improving the project support system and working mechanism of servicing Taiwan businessman as well as establishing special guidance fund and institutional platform for bilateral exchanges,to optimize Shanghai＇s investment environment for Taiwan businessman and grasp the trend of economic and trade development.
