Manufacturing status of special heavy-thickness plates was to develop the high performances products.The manufacturing status of special heavy-thickness plate productions and operating requirements were represented.Furthermore,the role of super on-line accelerated cooling technique,heat treatment on-line process,unidirectional solidification of ingot steel and welding compound technique in the special heavy-thickness plate grades exploitation were analyzed.The application of new technique impelled the high efficiency and practicability of the exploitation of special heavy-thickness plate grades.
