刘勰以"清"论文,涉及到对作品语言、文风、文体等各个方面的评价,主要是指诗文言辞的"清丽"和整体风貌的"清峻"等,核心是指以华美的言辞鲜明地表达思想内容,自然流畅、意气峻发,给人一种整体的审美愉悦感。"清"作为文学审美范畴,其地位是在《文心雕龙》中正式确立的。

Qing is one important concept in ancient Chinese philosophy and Aesthetics.Liuxie commented on the language,style,and other aspects of literature with it.Its primary meaning is the elegance and refinement of the overall outlook of literature.In other words,works with this feature can express ideas clearly with beautiful words and give people a sense of overall aesthetic pleasure.As a literary aesthetic category,the position of Qing can be formally established in Wen Xin Diao Long.
