摘要
近二十年,10种有代表性的高级精读教材在整体框架、内容选材和体例板式上各有所长,但在突出国别性、选择的文化承载以及容量大小等方面也存在很大的努力空间。应在体系的针对性,内容的适用性、实用性和多样化,教材的语体和文体的多样化等方面更新编排思路。
In the past twenty years,there have appeared ten sets of Advanced English Reading textbooks,with their respective merits in terms of overall framework,material selection,or format design.Yet there is much room for improvement in respect of the country-specific characteristics,the choice of culture samples,and the amount of material included in these textbooks.Updates are needed of these textbooks in respect of the pertinence of the organization,the appropriacy,practicality,and variety of the content,as well as the diversity of language and style.
