集聚与企业的出口决定——基于中国制造业企业层面数据的实证分析

Industrial agglomeration and determinants of firms' export performance:an empirical analysis based on the data about the manufacturing industry in China

基于1999-2007年之间140多万个微观企业的数据样本,运用动态随机Logit模型对中国制造业企业的出口决定因素进行实证研究,并重点考察了出口企业在空间上的集聚对潜在出口者出口倾向的影响。研究发现,同类行业出口企业在空间上的集聚有利于企业出口倾向的提高,但这种出口集聚的溢出效应也存在一定的限度,即二者之间表现为非线性的倒U型关系。总体而言当前我国地级区域层面的出口企业集聚并未达到最优水平。

By analyzing the data about over 1.4 million firms from 1999-2007,the paper conducts an empirical study of the determinants of export in the domestic manufacturing industry,with main focus on the effects of industrial agglomeration on exporting firms.The findings show that the geographic concentration in a particular field is conducive to the performance of firms' export but has a limited spillover effect,that is,the relationship between the two is a non-linear inverted U-shaped curve.In a general sense,the industrial agglomeration of the regional exporting firms is not at the optimal level.
