摘要
车贴在现代生活中随处可见。它有其特定的交际领域、交际方式和交际关系,以实现幽默诙谐和抑制路怒的功能。此文以Leech的礼貌原则为理论依据,具体分析了富有个性的车贴如何通过遵循礼貌原则、反语原则、玩笑原则和使用冒犯性话语,以及如何运用加强或有意违反礼貌原则的一些修辞手段和非言语手段来加强幽默和缓和情绪的效果。
Bumper stickers are popular in modern life. With their special register, means and relations of communication, bumper stickers could achieve function of humor thus to ease the anger of the drivers. Based on Leech' s Politeness Principle,this paper analyzes how personalized bumper stickers realize their functions of humor and ease the anger of drivers by abiding by Politeness Principle, the Principle of Irony and the Banter Principle or by using offensive language. Some rhetorical devices either emphasizing polite principle or deliberately violating the Politeness Principle in the bumper stickers and some non -verbal communications used in the bumper stickers could also achieve these effects.
