甘南黄河重要水源补给生态功能区是我国青藏高原具有很高生态服务价值和社会效益的重要的大型多功能生态区域。实施生态保护与建设,将对控制该区域湿地萎缩、减轻草地生态压力、保护森林资源、增加对黄河水资源的补给产生巨大作用,对改善当地农牧民的生产生活条件、促进民族地区经济持续发展具有十分重要作用。
