国语运动百年与汉字简化进程

The 100-year National Language Movement and the Simplification of Chinese Characters

国语运动前后,众多学者大力倡导使用俗字,形成强大的舆论影响。学者之举影响到官界,国民政府担负起领导组织汉字简化工作并取得了可观成绩,为新中国成立后全面制订汉语拼音方案及相关工作奠定了坚实的基础。整个进程成效显著,其原因为:1.舆论导向效应广泛;2.简省方法具体可取;3.稳步进行切实妥帖。有待改进的瑕疵为:1.同音替代有致字义混淆者;2.改换符号有缺乏构字规律者;3.简省笔画有致字形混淆者。

Before and after the National Language Movement,many scholars advocated the use of popular non-standard Chinese characters,which exerted much influence on the Government of the Republic of China that carried out the mission of simplifying Chinese characters and obtained much achievement.With this,the Government of the People＇s Republic of China implemented the work of standardizing the Chinese phonetic system because it is popular with the public,easy and practical to use.However,there are still some defects such as the confusion of homonyms,lack of rules for word formation and the confusion of some word-forms.
