庙产兴学事件中的河南寺观——以《获嘉县志》和《汲县采访卷》为中心

Henan’s Buddhist and Taoist Temples during the Boosting Education with Temple Properties Incident-With Key References from Huojia County Records and Collection of Ji County Interviews

提要:发端于清末民初的庙产兴学事件对河南佛教和道教的影响很少引起后世关注。通过对庙产兴学事件的分析,对河南地方精英态度的明确以及对河南地方志文献的梳理就会发现,这一事件在河南执行得彻底而坚决,并使河南佛、道二教遭到了毁灭性打击。在传统社会渐趋瓦解的同时,佛教、道教等传统思想资源等同迷信,也遭到了质疑,而其教训也值得思考。

The influences of the boosting education with temple properties incident started from late Qing Dynasty and early Republican period on Buddhism and Taoism in Henan are seldom noted by the later generations. Through analysis of the boosting education with temple properties incident, through clear understanding of the attitudes of the Henan local elites, and through combing Henan local records literature, we can see that boosting education with temple properties was carried out in Henan in a thorough and resolute manner, which brought destructive impact on Henan’s Buddhism and Taoism. At the same time when the traditional society gradually crumbled, the traditional thoughts and resources of Buddhism and Taoism were equaled to superstition and called into question, the lessons of which is very much worth pondering over.
