摘要
强流电子注速度测量及分析对真空电子器件的研究与设计具有重要的意义。本文提出了一种利用圆柱形结构的电容性感应探针进行非拦截式强流电子注轴向平均速度测量的方法,通过对电子注电流及其空间电荷效应感应出的电压的测量,可以得到电子注的轴向平均速度随时间的变化关系。完成了工程化设计以及测量系统的研制,并对某型号电子枪产生的实际电子注进行了测量,给出了初步的试验结果,验证了该测量方法和系统的有效性,并讨论了系统进一步改进的方案。
A novel technique was developed to measure,in a non-interceptive way,the averaged axial velocity of the intense electron beam of the vacuum microwave devices,based on the capacitive probe.In the technique,a cylindrical capacitive probe was designed and fabricated to evaluate the variations in voltage,originated from the space-charge and current of the electron beam.The time evolution of the averaged axial velocity of the intense electron beam can be obtained by measuring the voltages of the probe induced by the space charge and current of the electron beam.The prototyped probe was used to estimate the axial beam velocity of a specific electron gun,and the measured results agree fairly well with the calculated ones.Further improvement of the newly-developed technique was tentatively discussed.
