Investigation of Knowledge Needs and Knowledge Assistance to the New Generation of Migrant Workers—A Case Suudy of the New Generation of Migrant Workers of Foshan City

通过对佛山新生代外来工的知识需求状况进行调查和整理分析,完善新生代外来工知识援助机制,以公共图书馆、高(职)院校、企业、社区图书馆多元化参与模式,实行技能培训和素质培训并重的双培养,并利用现代信息技术手段进行知识援助。

Based on the survey and analysis to the knowledge needs of new generation of migrant workers in Foshan, the author argues that the mechanism of knowledge aid for them should be improved. The paper proposes a cooperative mode that the public libraries, university libraries, enterprise libraries as well as the community libraries are involved in , which advocates the dual training for both skills and competence of the workers with the helps of modern information technology.
