In Toni Morrison＇s latest work,A Mercy,racism is presented as cultural trauma.And thus the circulation of trauma as well as the impossibility of its healing is presented through the masterly control of character narration,namely,the alternative use of character narration and third person narration,the juxtaposition of different character narrations as well as incompleteness of narration.
