摘要
本文通过对美国南方文学最具代表性的女作家弗兰纳里·奥康纳国内外研究史料的梳理分析,基于同期作家福克纳、韦尔蒂、麦卡勒斯在国内译介状况的比较,指出国内由于译介的缺失所导的奥氏研究和译介存在的缺乏系统性和连贯性;游离于整个南方文学研究体系之外;以其揭示南方文译介研究中存在的普遍问题。
Based on the latest development in Flannery O＇Connor＇s research and criticism,this paper attempts to present an overview of the fruitful studies of O＇Connor,one of the most representative female writers of Southern American Literature.The research findings,concluded from the comparison among the other three writers：Faulkner,Welty and McCullers in China,point out that the lack of translation lead to considerately weak systematicness and consistency,which causes the translations and studies of the author to be isolated from the entire Southern Literature study system.This paper therefore aims to explore the common problem in the translation of Southern American Literature.
