摘要
本文以《情报学报》和Journal of Information Science两种期刊为例,分析了期刊作者群的新陈代谢现象及其规律。首先统计了作者的发文时长、发文速率和发文间隔的分布情况,然后根据作者第一次在所选期刊上发表文章的年份,对作者的年级进行了界定,并分别统计了历时态下作者群的衰减规律和共时态下作者年级的分布情况。通过对这两种期刊的实证研究表明,每年的期刊作者群中,有2/3左右是第一次在该期刊上发表文章的新作者;在这2/3的新作者中,又有3/4左右的作者此后没有再发表过文章,即县花一现的作者占每年期刊作者群总人数的一半左右。本文还尝试说明这一新陈代谢现象的机理和意义。
In this paper, two journals-Journal of the China Society for Scientific and Technical Information and Journal of Information Science--were taken as example cases for the analysis of the phenomenon of the changing and succeeding of journal author group and its regularity. Firstly, the production duration, rate and interval of each author and their distribution were calculated. Then based on the year when the author published their first paper, the grade of each author was defined and the statistics results of the grades of the authors were given. In this way, we concluded the law of the changing and succeeding of journal author group. As the result shows, in each year, two-thirds of the authors are fresh ones for the journal. However, three-fourths of these authors no longer show up after this year. It means that almost half of the authors in each year will only appear one time and in this way the journal author group restructures. In the end, we try to give the explanations of this phenomenon.
