The Application of Ground Penetrating Radar in Detecting Tunnel Lining Thickness

The working principle of Ground Penetrating Radar（GPR） is introduced,in which the principles and techniques in detecting tunnel lining thickness are also proposed.Combined with the engineering practice,the GPR nondestructive testing is conducted in a tunnel wall thickness of the right side.Meanwhile,some technical problems in GPR detection,such as measuring line layout,data acquisition,data image processing etc,is detailedly introduced.Based on the measuring results,it indicates the superiority of Ground Penetrating Radar in detecting thickness of the tunnel lining and puts forward relevant construction proposal.
