A long-term debate of Leishmania reproduction mode： does Leishmania have sex？

利什曼病是一种严重的寄生虫病，流行于除南极洲外的所有大陆，全世界约有3．5亿人受其威胁。克隆生殖一直被认为是利什曼原虫的唯一生殖方式，但是近年的诸多研究结果提示，利什曼原虫可能存在着有性生殖。该文就其生殖方式的研究进展作一综述。

Leishmaniasis, a kind of severe parasitic disease, is epidemic all over the world except Antarctica with 350 million people under its threat. Clonality has been regarded as the only reproduction mode of Leishmania. However, some recent researches indicated that sexuality exists in Leishrnania. The progress on the reproduction mode of Leishmania was reviewed in this paper.
