图书馆的外部性及其服务经济的职能作用——以行业特色高校图书馆为例

Library's Externality and Its Function of Serving Economy——Taking the University Library of Distinctive Industrial Features as an Example

图书馆的外部性主要表现在它所具有的准公共产品、低边际成本和公益性三个方面,这三种表现形式使得图书馆社会化服务成为其重要的职能,在社会化服务中为地方经济或行业经济发展服务是其重要内容之一。本文以行业特色高校图书馆为例,说明这类图书馆在为行业经济服务中具有优势和可行性,同时服务行业经济也有利于图书馆自身的生存和发展。对于如何发挥图书馆外部性,更好的服务行业经济,提出了一些对策建议。

Library＇s externalities are mainly manifested in three areas which are quasi-public products,low marginal costs and public characteristic.These three forms makes library＇s social services become its important functions,especially in servicing local economy and industry economy.This paper takes the library of industrial featured university as an example,and illustrates the advantages and feasibility of this kind of libraries in servicing industrial economy.Meanwhile,servicing industral economy is in favour of library＇s survival and development.This paper also puts forward some suggestions so that the library can serve industrial economy better.
