On the History of the Boy Scouts of Tsing-Hua School——A Study on Tsinghua's Boy Scouts(1912-1928)

在中国近现代教育史上,清华大学以其创新精神开创了中国诸多的"第一",推动了中国教育的发展。清华童子军是民国初年中国北方建立的第一支童子军。同时,它也是清华学校前20年存在时间最长的学生组织之一。清华童子军与清末民初国民精神的检讨以及周诒春校长"全人格教育"思想均有紧密的关连。3者之间的互动构筑了清华传统精神的诸多方面。

The discussion of Tsing-Hua＇s traditional spirit should be focused on the development of Tsing-Hua School in first 20 years of the 20th century.The Boy Scouts of Tsing-Hua School was one of the longest student organizations at that time.From this organization,some features of Tsing-Hua＇s original spirits can be discovered.The Boy Scouts keep close relations with the arguments of Guo-min Spirits in 1910-1920s and the Moral Training of Zhou Yi-chun,the president of Tsing-Hua School.These 3 factors played an important role in the Tsing-Hua traditional spirit.
