Based on the thinking of value and policy orientations of China＇s athletics after Beijing Olympics,it is suggested that with the Olympics as a launch pad and the scientific development view as leading,the past of China＇s athletics should be carefully examined and objectively evaluated,and the future be comprehensively planned.It is also suggested that value and policy orientations of China＇s athletics should be adjusted as follows： come up to pleasure sports while saying goodbye to tragedy sports;welcome confidence sports while ending anxiety sports;appreciste charm sports while facing up to the gold-medal spoirts;develop multi-element sports while adjusting the Olympic sports;focus on effect sports while examining bid for sports.
