摘要
副词"不由得"是由"不由"加上后缀"得"发展而来的。在现代汉语里,"不由得"逐渐主观化,从最初客观地表述句子主语的情态逐渐演变出表达说话人主观判断的意义,这一过程符合语义演变主观化的一般规律。
＂can＇thelpcannotbut＂ consists of the adverbial ＂buyou＂ and the suffix ＂de＂.As a verb phrase,its original meaning gradually bleached and became an adverb presenting mainly modal meaning which was on the track of the grammaticalization of ＂buyou＂.In contemporary Chinese,the ＂can＇thelpcannotbut ＂ construction manifests subjective assertion rather than just objectively expressing modality,going further towards subjectification.
