C-E Public Sign Translation and the Translator′s Given Cultural Structure

认知翻译观充分肯定译者的主体地位,但译者主体性的发挥受到诸多因素的制约,其中最重要的一个"镣铐"是其自身的文化先结构。译者的文化先结构对公示语翻译的影响主要表现在价值观差异、思维方式差异和民族文化缺省三个方面。

Congitive Translatology stresses on translator′s subjectivity,however,a translator is a chained dancer,whose subjectivity is not boundless as it is restricted by various factors,such as the given cultural structure.The effect that given cultural structure wields on the C-E public sign translation can be demonstrated by the following three aspects namely dissimilar values,different modes of thinking,and cultural default.
