西藏具有丰富的艺术资源,仅选取1990年代以来国外西藏艺术理论研究作一综述。主要以方法论为分类依据,根据图像学、社会学、考古学及宗教学等不同的方法论归类述评,反映20年来西藏艺术理论研究的进展和成果,展现西藏艺术研究中重要理论与方法。

Tibet has a rich artistic resources.This article selects and sum up the theoretical study of Tibetan art abroad since the 1990s.Methodology is the base of the classification according to image science,sociology,archeology,and religion of different classification methodology review,reflecting the progress and achievement of the study of Tibetan art theory and shows the important theory and research methodology used in the research on Tibetan art.
