南通都市区的空间发展战略

Space Development Strategy of Nantong Metropolitan Area

构建都市区是我国大城市在高速发展背景下城市空间增长与演进的必然趋势。南通地处江苏省沿江沿海经济发展轴交汇处,作为"承接苏南、带动苏中、苏北"发展的重要增长极以及上海都市圈的副中心城市之一,是江苏省实施海上苏东战略的重要城市。但目前南通市区的发展还存有规模过小、空间短缺的问题,因此建立南通都市区,制订统一协调的城市空间发展战略十分必要。南通市都市区的空间发展战略既要考虑都市区整体发展的要求,又要考虑各空间单元的发展要求,还要考虑城市和乡村两种不同类型空间的协调发展,须从宏观、中观、微观三个层次和空间尺度研究与制定。

The construction of metropolitan area is an unavoidable trend for large cities under the circumstances of rapid development. Nantong is located at the junction of coastal and river economic zones. It is an important city in the developing strategy of Jiangsu Province, because it is a transiting city connecting South Jiangsu and North Jiangsu and is one of the sub-central cities of Shanghai metropolitan area. However, the urban area of Nantong is of small size and narrow coverage. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a metropolitan area and establish harmonious strategies. The strategies should consider the integral requirements of the metropolitan development, and the coordinated development of both urban and rural areas.
