对外文化交流的意义不仅是学习借鉴,同时也是展示自身文化,增加相互了解和信任的过程。南通对外文化交流经历了"单一贫乏""双向丰富"和"平衡发展"三个阶段。在坚持吸收其他文化的同时,南通文化还应大步"走出去,让世界了解南通,从而更好地促进南通经济和文化的发展。

The significance of international exchange lies not only in learning and borrowing, but also in displaying its own culture, enhancing mutual understanding and trust. The history of international cultural exchange in Nantong can be divided into three periods, namely, one-way period, two-way period and balanced period.
