甘蔗条螟(Chilo venosatus walker)属鳞翅目螟蛾科,广布于我国南方蔗区,尤其在珠江兰角州高产蔗区每年发生4～6代。它使甘蔗枯心或枯梢,影响甘蔗产量。

By means of TLC. GC, micro-ozonolysis and GC-MS,(Z)-11-hexadecenvl ace-tate (1 a), (Z)-13-octadecenyl acetate (2 a) and (Z)-13-octadecenol (3 a) were isolated andidentified as the sex pheromone components of the sugarcane striped borer Chilo venosatus(Walker). from the pheromone gland extract of virgin females. Strong bio-activity wasshown by mixtures of the synthetic 1 a, 2 a and 3 a in the field tests.
