An Exploration into the Evaluation Index System for Building a Harmonious Society in the Ethnic Wuling Mountainous Area

构建社会主义和谐社会有统一的标准和要求,但不能以"大一统"强加于不同地区的和谐社会(区)构建,必须尊重各个地区的实际,区分对待,扬长避短。武陵山民族地区突出的特殊性决定了构建和谐社会明显的优劣势,文章依据武陵山民族地区的民族历史、民族文化、民族关系、经济社会发展程度等特殊因素,对该地区和谐社会指标选取原则、指标体系内容以及指标体系的具体应用作了探讨,以期对民族地区的和谐社会以及全面小康社会建设提供一定的理论指导。

Identical standard and requirement are needed in building a harmonious socialist society. However, due weight should be given considering regional difference. The ethnic Wuling mountainous area has its advantage and disadvantage in building a harmonious society. This paper,based on the unique features of the Wuling Mountainous area in ethnic history,ethnic culture,ethnic relationship and the status of social and economic development, explores the evaluation index system for building a harmonious society in terms of principle,content and application,hoping to guide the practice in this area.
