从涉身认知科学看语言涉身性研究的维度

Embodied Cognitive Science and Dimensions of the Embodiment of Language

"涉身性"是方兴未艾的涉身哲学和涉身认知科学的一个核心概念。目前对语言涉身性的研究主要集中于阐释语言的涉身形成机制,重在回答身体体验活动如何塑造了语言。但是从"涉身性"在认知科学中的广阔含义来看,对语言涉身性的探讨应当多维多元,至少可以从身体构造、语言机制、言语活动和环境因素等几个维度来进行,其研究前景十分广阔。

＂Embodiment＂ is a core concept of the burgeoning embodied philosophy and the embodied cognitive science as a whole.Current research concentrates on documenting the presence of embodiment in language,attempting to reveal how human body＇s experiential activity shapes language.Given the fact that the notion ＂embodiment＂ has taken on a great variety of meanings in the field of embodied cognitive science,the authors strongly suggest that the dimensions of the embodiment of language to be investigated into should be expanded,covering at least the following four： the makeup of the body,the mechanism of language,language activity and environmental factors,which foretell a wide prospect for future research.
