回顾了建国以来水力资源普查情况，给出了四川省最新调查成果；介绍了四川水电开发情况，列出了建国以来已、正建大、中型水电站，显示了辉煌的建设成就；展望了２１ 世纪初至２０２０ 年四川水电开发前景，并着重指出四川具有建设大中型调节水库的有利条件。
The paper reviews general survey on waterpower resources since the founding of the People' Republic of China , gives the resent investigation results in Sichuan province , lists the large and medium-sized hydropower stations existed and under construction after founding of People' Republic of China , demonstrates great achievement in hydropower construction , looks forward to the future in Sichuan hydropower development from beginning to 2020 in the 21th century and emphasizes favorable conditions for creating large and medium -sized regulating reservoirs in Sichuan province.
