A Fast TLS-ESPRIT Algorithm for Uniform Linear Array

摘要 TLS-ESPRIT算法是一种方位估计算法,由于采用了全局最小二乘估计,其在低信噪比下的估计性能较ESPRIT算法有所提高,但算法略显复杂。本文针对均匀线列阵,构成了TLS-ESPRIT的简化算法,使其运算量明显减少,同时还可给出源功率的估计。文中给出了算法的结构及计算机仿真结果。 ESPRIT is a novel algorithm to estimate DOA. The TLS-ESPRIT, which employs the total least square (TLS) rather than least square (LS) in the previous ESPRIT, is an important modification to the ESPRIT, but it is more complex and computationally expensive. In this paper, a fast TLS-ESPRIT algorithm is proposed and the method of power estimation is given. In the paper's method, the signal subspace can be eStimated via a eigendecomposition of a (M+l ) X (M+l) matrix instead of a 2M X2M matrix in the general TLS-ESPRIT. The computation is greatly reduced when M is larger The simulation results are give to show the performance of the paper's method and are compared to the Roy's general TLS-ESPRIT.
