摘要
"点"与"线"是最简单的符号元素,也是人类抽象思维的最简约表现形式。本文考察了人类历史上认识"点"和"线"的方式和事件,阐述了"点"和"线"在揭示事物结构方面的作用,描述了人类以"点"与"线"作为符号工具重构对象并加以认识的思维活动。随着网络时代的到来,"点"和"线"将不再隐身于人类思维的后台,而将成为人们从"网络"这个时代标志的视角观察和了解各种系统的基本媒介。
＂Point＂ and ＂line＂ are two simplest symbolic elements,and they are also the most concise forms embedding in human abstract thinking.This paper investigated the methods and events in the history of recognizing ＂point＂ and ＂line＂,stating the function of ＂point＂ and ＂line＂ in revealing structures of things,describing the thinking activities in reconstructing and studying objects by using ＂point＂ and ＂line＂ as symbol tools.With the network era coming on,＂point＂ and ＂line＂ will not stay behind in human thinking.They are becoming essential media for observing and understanding various systems from the perspective of ＂network＂,the icon of net age.
