Application of Ceramic Foam Filter to Automotive Castings

介绍了泡沫陶瓷过滤器的过滤与整流功能,指出了安放位置、孔径、厚度和过流速度的选择原则。以FCRI泡沫陶瓷过滤器在缸体缸盖、曲轴类铸件、涡轮壳铸件上的应用为例,说明了泡沫陶瓷过滤器在汽车铸件中的应用有减少不良率、提高铸造材料的利用率和改善铸件质量及加工性能等优点。

The introduction was focused on the two specialties of the ceramic foam filter,i.e.filtering and commutating,its application method including setting location,selection of aperture,thickness as well as by-flowing rate etc.Taking application of FCRI type of ceramic foam filter on cylinder block,cylinder head,crankshaft,turbine casing as examples,the advantages of applying the ceramic foam filters to the automotive castings was explained as follows： reducing rejection rate,increasing usage rate of casting materials,improving casting quality and machinability.
