基于模板匹配的车牌汉字识别方法及判别函数 被引量:4

摘要 利用预先设计好的标准车牌汉字模板与待识别字符进行逻辑‘与’运算,通过判别函数得出识别结果。文中提出两个判别函数,求取模板、待识别字符与匹配结果三者标准差最小值,求取匹配结果矩阵元素和最大值,并对它们的识别结果进行对比和分析,最后将两个函数联合使用。结果表明,在一些字符的识别上文中方法较以往的识别方法有所提高。 This paper does the"and" operation for the pre-designed template standard of license plate character and the character to be recognized.It puts forward two discriminant functions,calculates the minimum of standard deviation of the template,the character to be recognized and the matching result,calculates the maximum sum of the matrix elements of the matching result,and makes an analysis of their results.Then it uses them together.The results show that it has better result than the previous method in recognition of some characters
