论文介绍我国当代著名文献学家潘树广先生的生平,以其最有代表性的著述入手阐述他对文献学事业的贡献,并着重论述他在"大文献学"理论的提出、古籍索引理论的构建、文学史料学理论体系的建立等方面取得的理论成就和贡献。

This paper introduces Mr. Pan Shuguang--a famous bibliographer in 20th century and his achievement by his representative writings. The Theoretical achievements and contributions of Pan Shuguang manifested in originating the theory of ＂Big philology＂, estab-lishing the theory of ancient book index and founding the theory system of historical literary in philology.
