摘要
利用商业离散元软件PFC2D建立了二维平面模型,分析了低速切削对切削力的影响。运用离散元方法对冷硬铸铁的二维正交切削过程进行模拟。模拟结果表明:在低速切削时,切削力随切削速度的增加而增大。模拟结果与实验结果接近,说明了离散元方法模拟脆性金属低速切削过程是可行的。
In this paper the the effect of cutting speed on the cutting force at low speed were calculated by using 2D model based on PFC2D software. The two dimensional orthogonal cutting process of chilled cast iron based on DEM was simulated. The calculated results indicate that the cutting force increase with the increasing of cutting speed. The simulation results are in a good agreement with the experimental results. The present results indicate that it is feasible to simulate the low speed cutting process of brittle metal materials by using DEM.
