论广州话谓词性的“形+名”组合

On the Predicative Combination of "Adjective + Noun" in Cantonese

广州话有部分"形+名"组合是谓词性的,颇具特色。其句法性质比较复杂,最主要的功能是作谓语。这种组合的特点是:1.不具类推性。2.程度量级有趋大的倾向。3.一般不具有形容词的重叠功能。该现象并非当代广州话新兴的特点,其生成的动因是,话语交际中言者先突出所要强调的焦点。

It's quite characteristic that some of the combinations of'Adjective + Noun'are predicative in Cantonese.The syntactic natures of such combinations are very complex,among which being used as predicate is the main function.This paper deeply discusses the features of the combination: Firstly,it has no analogy.Secondly,its degree-gradability increasingly tends to'large'.Thirdly,generally it has no overlapping function of adjective.Finally,the paper indicates that the phenomenon is not new feature of contemporary Cantonese,and explores the forming mechanism that the speaker first gives prominence to the focal point who wants to emphasize in the utterance communication.
