A Research about History Protection of Wu Yuan Road Area Shanghai

五原路位于上海原法租界西区,历史上的功能形态以居住为主,并有幼儿园等公建配套设施,东段局部设有贸易市场。而今是融合居住、商业休闲等综合功能的街区。配合徐汇区城市发展的总体战略目标,在新的城市社会经济发展背景要求下,通过深入研究其风貌特征、功能定位、各相关要素,提出一系列具有可操作性的建议,形成五原路沿线区域的发展目标、功能和相关城市要素设计方案,以求最大化延续历史文脉,发挥这片城市空间的价值。

Wu Yuan Road locates in the west area of original French concession in Shanghai, in the history the main function of this area was living and some public facilities such as kindergarten and local market. Now it is a fusion of residential and commercial leisure. With the development of Xuhui District overall strategic objectives in the new context of urban social and economic development requirements, this paper put forward a series of practical suggestions to maximize continuation of historical context and the value of this area through in-depth study on the characteristics, function, the relevant factors.
