论二程孟子研究的异同

On the Difference of the Two Chengs' Research on Mengzi

孟子及其著作在宋代的地位得到了很大的提升,在这一过程中,二程作出了重要的贡献,他们从相似的角度研究了《孟子》的心、性、理、情等概念,肯定了孟子在儒学上的地位,但二人对相关概念的理解不尽相同,研究的范围和深度也有差异。总之,程氏兄弟通过对《孟子》及其它经典的研究,建立了自己的理论体系,为理学的形成奠定了坚实的基础。

The position of Mengzi and his works rose during The Song Dynasty for their great contribution to the research on MENGZI. The two Chengs studied the mind ; personality; rationality and emotion in MENGZI , and they recognized the position of Mengzi in the Confucianism , but they have different interpretation and research field. In a word , they estab lished a theoretical system and solid foundation for Confucianism.
