In the course ＂An Introduction to the Basic Principles of Marxism＂ there exists a serious problem of practical effectiveness.The author believes that the key of improving the effectiveness of the course lies in the university teachers.This paper explores the practical effectiveness of the course according to five aspects,such as the construction of teacher＇s ethics,preparing the lesson of the teacher,the communication between the teachers and students,the environment of cultivating the university student and the criteria of examination.
