随着当今中国的历史性实践向纵深推进,建设社会主义核心价值体系已成为我们一项重要而紧迫的任务。社会主义核心价值体系建设的现实基础是中国自近代以来的整个现代化实践,特别是中国特色社会主义道路的现代化实践;这一建设任务的思想资源乃以马克思主义(特别是中国化的马克思主义)为主干,同时包括近代西方的先进思想和中华民族的优秀文化传统。只有充分认识这样的实践基础和思想资源,社会主义核心价值体系的建设才能在现实中与社会的未来发展相一致,并成为引导全民族奋发向上的精神力量。

As the China’s historic practice to further promote, constructing the socialist core value system has become our important and urgent task. The reality basis of socialist core value system is the whole modern practice since modern times, especially the the modernization practice on the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics; The ideological resource of this construction task give priority to Marxist (especially of the sinicization of Marxist), at the same time, including the modern advanced western thought and fine culture of the Chinese nation tradition. Only when we have a full understanding of the practice basis and thoughts such resources, the construction of socialist core value system can be consistent with the future development of society in reality, and become the spiritual strength that push the whole nation exert themselves to move forward.
