摘要
话本小说序跋在为通俗小说"正名"以及"创作定位"和"创作规律"等方面进行了有效的理论探索,从而在明清之际形成了独具特色的、系统的通俗小说理论体系,并以大量的创作实践充分发展了这一理论,这在中国古代小说理论史上有着非常重要的意义。
Making use of prefaces and epilogues,Huaben fictions published many fruitful theoretical investigations with regard to popular novels,including their definition and justification,their orientation,and their composition laws.As a result,a unique theoretical system regarding popular novels came into being in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties,which was further developed by writing practices,proving extremely significant in the history of ancient Chinese novel theories.
