Cultivate Students' Autonomous Learning Ability in Comprehensive English Teaching under Memetics

模因论是一种基于达尔文进化论观点来解释文化进化规律的新理论。模因与语言有着极其密切的关系。学语言本身就是语言模因复制、传播的过程。模因的复制和传播规律不仅大大丰富了人类的语言宝库,揭示了人类语言发展的规律,而且也为外语教学提供了一种新的视角。

Memetics is a new theory to interpret cultural evolution based on Darwin＇s evolution theory. Language and meme are closely connected, for language learning is the replication and transmission of meme. The replication and transmission of memes has not only enriched human languages and revealed the law of human language development, hut also provided a new perspective for foreign language teaching. This paper has discussed comprehensive English teaching under the guidance of memetics, to cultivate students imitating consciousness to develop their autonomous learning ability.
