A Study on English Grammaring Reinforcement and Garden-Path Sentence Comprehension

Researchers often use garden - path （GP） sentences to investigate sentence comprehension. Since sentence comprehension is affected by language proficiency, English grammaring reinforcement can elevate GP sentence comprehension. Through quantitative research, by explicitly cultivating metalinguistic awareness and reinforcing the knowledge and skills of syntactic structures, the comprehension of English GP sentences can be enhanced. Meanwhile, it is found that the ＂ good - enough＂ approach is a particular and powerful stage of traditional theories.
