The aim of college English teaching reform is to cultivate students＇ ability of comprehensive application and autonomous learning through a mode combining network and classroom teaching.Network-based autonomous learning modes in college English involve autonomous classroom teaching mode and autonomous extracurricular learning mode.Problems of the network-based autonomous learning in college English are analyzed and countermeasures on how to improve the network-based autonomous learning mode in college English are proposed.
