表“怀疑/不确信”语言表达式的语用功能分析

Pragmatic Functions of Expressions that Indicate Doubt or Uncertainty

在日常言语交际中,人们往往避免使用绝对的、不留一点余地的表达方式,而是大量采用一些不太明确或不太确定的语言手段来委婉地表达自己的观点。本文从收集到的语料中总结了一些常见的表示"怀疑/不确信"的语言表达式,并从顺应论的角度对其进行了语用功能分析,共总结出五类语用功能:信息功能、推进言谈功能、语用缓和功能、唤起同感功能和礼貌功能。

In daily communication, people tend to avoid absolute and offensive expressions and try to use more uncertain ways to express themselves politely. In this paper, from the data, some common expressions that indicate doubt and uncertainty have been summarized and five pragmatic functions have been found： information function （including expressing personal opinions and seeking approval）, di- alogue promoting function, pragmatic mitigation, seeking empathy and polite function.
