This article deals with the storage of maize seeds in northern China in terms of such techniques as harvesting, processing, and storage. The author stresses that maize seeds should be harvested and processed in time, and measures should be taken to redure moisture, prevent seeds from being heated and damaged by pests and control seed microorganism so as to lengthen the steerage period and ensure seed quality.
