Simon＇s ＂bounded rationality＂ has been approached by researchers in economics, manage- ment, administration and other disciplines. This paper examines the historical stages of bounded rationality in Simon＇s academic career, and then analyzes entire meaning of Simon＇s bounded rationality. The present paper draws a basic conclusion that ＂satisfaction＂ and ＂adaptability＂ are both indispensable important aspects in Simon＇s thought of bounded rationality.
