《北溪字义》之中庸新解

A New Explanation of Mean in Beixi Ziyi

陈淳的代表著作《北溪字义》形式上以字义入手,从四书中选择关键的概念、范畴,结合周敦颐、张载、二程、朱熹等人理学思想进行概括、诠释,进而分析《北溪字义》涉及《中庸》的文本,无论是作为章节名的"中庸",还是引用四书中的《中庸》言论,或者以子思之言代替《中庸》之意,或者从书中所体现出的道统传承,这些都是陈淳以"庸"解师的一种径路,从而归纳出《中庸》对《北溪字义》的作用和影响。

Chen Chun＇s representative work,Beixi Ziyi,starting from the word meaning,selected the key concepts and categories,combined and summarized the thoughts of Zhou Dunyi,Zhangzai,Cheng brothers,Zhu Xi and other Neo-Confucianists.This paper focuses on the analysis of the text and the meaning of Mean in Beixi Ziyi,including the title of chapter or the referred words in Mean which belongs to the Four Books or using Zi Si to replace Mean or the ＂daotong＂ in Beixi Ziyi.This is a way to understand his teacher,Zhu Xi,and then to induce the role and influence of Mean in Beixi Ziyi.
