摘要 采用羟甲基化-氧化聚合法对炭黑纳米颗粒进行了改性处理,制备了炭黑聚甲基丙烯酸(CB/PMAA)复合纳米颗粒,采用TEM、FT-IR及光度法研究了改性CB的结构及其在电泳显示基液———四氯乙烯(TCE)中的分散性能。结果表明,PMAA包覆在CB表面形成核壳结构的CB/PMAA复合材料;随着MAA用量的减少,改性CB与TCE的接触角有减小的趋势;电荷控制剂OLOA-1200可以有效提高改性CB在TCE中的分散性。 Carbon black nano-particles are modified by hydroxymethylation-oxidative polymerization method. Carbon black/poly(methyl methacrylate) (CB/PMAA) composite nanoparticles are prepared. CB structure and the dispersion performance in the electrophoretic display fluid-tetrachloroethene(TCE) are characterizated by using TEM, FT-IR and spectrophotometric. The results show that PMAA is successfully coated on the surface of CB nanoparticles and form CB/PMAA composite materials with the core-shell structure. With the decreasing amount of MAA, the con tact angle between TCE and the surface of the modified CB nanoparticles have decreasing trend. Also, the dispersion performance of the modified CB in the TCE can be effectively improved with charge control agent OLOA-1200.
