众所周知，Ｄｅｌｐｈｉ作为ＲＡＤ（Ｒａｐｉｄ ＡｐｐｌｉｃａｔｉｏｎＤｅｖｅｌｏｐｍ ｅｎｔ，快速应用开发）工具，因其高效的编译器、友好的可视化界面而大受青睐，在数据库、多媒体、网络等系统的开发中得到了广泛的应用。本文从多媒体系统应用的需求出发，针对标准ＣｈｅｃｋＢｏｘ 控件的不足，提出了改进的构想，设计了一个新的、真正图形化的ＣｈｅｃｋＢｏｘ 控件—ＭｙＣｈｅｃｋＢｏｘ，并在Ｄｅｌｐｈｉ４中实现了该控件。该控件无论从外观上，还是功能上，均超过了标准ＣｈｅｃｋＢｏｘ 控件。

There are Many standard controls (such as CheckBox)in Delphi, which can satisfy the requirem entsofm ostapplications. However, itis som etim es necessary to develop one's own CheckBox control to m eet the particular needs of m ultim edia system applica- tions. This paper introduces a new graphic CheckBox con- trol: MyCheckBox, an extension of the standard CheckBox control, w hich has been im plem ented in Delphi4 successful- ly.
