For some engineers working in operation or production fields in the industry of electric power, valuable applied technologies from them are difficult to be put out on high-level journals due to their poor ability to place emphases when writing a paper. Targeting some typical problems in drafting a paper, the author elaborates the potential changes of readers and their difference with structural units. The abstract in Chinese serves search and spreading, whereas the abstract in English serves the internationalization of China-based technologies. Introduction should exhibit the depth of research. Theory and method may be followed closely by professionals in the same field. Result and conclusion should reveal fully the innovations.
